How to set up Qlab to fire cue to another Qlab by OSC?

On the control computer that will fire cue. Need to have the IP of the computer that will listen to the Go cue.
Computer 1 has SQ to go
Computer 2 has TAP cue
Computer 1 will toggle computer 2

1. On Two Qlab Computers need to be on the same network. Though WIFI or Ethernet Cable
2. Goto Qlab-Network Preference, On the Qlab Computer that will fire GO
3. NAME - Create New Patch Name- Example HOAX (It does not matter what team you put in)
4. NETWORK- Choose what kind of connection you use between 2 computer. Ex Ethernet or Wi-fi
5. DESTINATION- Put i-address of the computer 2 that you want to talk to. ex192.168.0.12
( Your computer will have the different IP Address)
6. DESTINATION NUMBER Put 53000
7. No need to put Passcode.
8. Create OSC cue in Computer 1
9. OSC Setting Destination: Choose the Network name that you create
10. OSC Setting Type: Qlab Message
11. OSC Setting Cue Number: put the cue that you want to fire here example  001, 002,  AA

Moving your show to different theatre

When you move your show to the different space, you have to set up the new sound level during Sound System Balance/Sound Focus. 

Edit overall level for new system

—>Workspace Setting, down right corner setting icon ( or view—> workspace setting)

—>Audio

—>Audio patch 1: check that it’s choose the right audio interface.

—>Audio Patch—>Edit Patch1—> device Rounting: You can set the master level here.

       Example if the system seem to be louder than the previous system, add the master level fader.  

       Example if the system seem to quieter than the previous system, lower the master level fader.

 Goto Device Rounting: Adjust the Master level

Change the name of out put. If you have more speakers or less speakers.

—>Workspace Setting—>Audio—>Edit Patch1—> Cue Output

Here you can change name of the line out name. So you will not confuse which out put is what speaker by re label this new output chanel.

       Example: Cue output#1:   “1”   you can change to “HL”

       Example:  Your old session can have 1 2 3 4 as 1HL/ 2HR/ 3rearL/ 4rearR and now you can rename it to 1HL/ 2HR/  3C/ 4rearL / 5rearR

Qlab Control Abelton Live

1. Turn the IAC bus on in Audio/MIDI Setup

 Open your Audio Midi Setup-Window-Show MIDI Studio

Open your Audio Midi Setup-Window-Show MIDI Studio

2. Open Live and Told Ableton to look for MIDI Notes from the IAC bus

3.Open Qlab and told QLab to send Notes MIDI via the IAC bus

4.Crate midi note on in Qlab (command 8), Midi voice massage. You can assigned the  Midi Chanel and Note number whatever you want. This specific number will assign to different midi control. For example Chanel 1 and chanel 2 same note will send a different massage to Live.

5. In Live go to midi tab on top left of the window. Click on it and the tap will highlight blue. Select the button you want to tricker.

6.Send midi massage from Qlab. This will make the button memories the massage.

Now you can assigned the MIDI Note to assigned the MIDI Notes to all kinds of things in Live such as clip play, all stop, effects on and off.
